A Bristol Sampling - In this class we will use portions of Martha Worboys Bristol sampler to make a spool sampler - In addition to learning how to attach a small roll to a spool we will learn about Martha and the special impact the Bristol Orphanage had on many children in the UK. All materials (chart, banding, spool, floss, needle, and all other finishing pieces—fabric, ribbon, and button) will be included in this class fee. I will also be bringing my original Bristol sampler to have on display - a great opportunity to look at an original up close - the tiny stitches are such an inspiration!
