Vintage Textile Collage 

Do you have a collection of vintage textiles and trims which are too pretty to throw away, but too small, stained, or damaged to display or use? Let’s put those sweet little pieces together into one fabulous textile. In this two-part class we'll collage pieces together using a variety of stitches, threads, and embellishments to turn our fabrication into a one-of-a-kind journal cover. I fill my journals with vintage paper and ephemera ready for writing, doing art, and/or holding collected treasures from my life, but you could make your book into a sketchbook, reading tracker, needle and thread keeper, travel log, or whatever you’d like. Each is bound in a unique piece of slow stitch art!
